This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian workplace and provide important assistance to the students and teaching staff in delivering high-quality care and Christian education to students requiring support for their specific learning needs.Some key responsibilities will include:Providing a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyleAssisting the teacher with implementation of the daily programSupervising, assisting and supporting studentsReplenishing supplies and assisting with tidying of the classroomModelling the teacher's example for behaviour managementDeveloping and maintaining an open and friendly rapport with parentsProviding general support to the teacher in the classroomThe successful candidate will have the following:Demonstrated commitment to the school's Statement of FaithExperience in a similar position (desirable)Well-developed interpersonal and communication skillsCapacity to accept direction, but also to use initiative when appropriateConfidence to supervise, assist and support studentsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamThe safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all our students is a high priority.
