Support Workers who are experienced in supporting clients with high complex behaviours are needed !!
Skills & Experience
NDIS Expertise:Previous experience supporting participants with complex needs, preferably inSupported Independent Living (SIL).
Behaviour Support:Proven experience implementingPositive Behaviour Support Plansand proactive de-escalation strategies.
Practice Knowledge:Strong understanding oftrauma-informed, person-centred, and rights-basedcare practices.
Compliance:Solid knowledge ofrestrictive practices, NDIS authorisations, professional boundaries, and confidentiality.
Credentials:Hold acurrent Australian driver's licenceand meet all relevant transport requirements.
Personal Attributes
Emotional Maturity:Calm, patient, and skilled with excellentemotional regulationunder pressure.
Communication:Exceptional communication skills with a respectful,collaborative approachto all stakeholders.
Relationship Building:Proven ability tobuild trustwith participants, families, guardians, and allied health teams.
Reliability:Punctual, dependable, and deeply committed to providingconsistent, high-quality support.
Coachability:Receptive to feedback, coaching,



and a willingness to undergoparticipant-specific training.
Operational Duties
Routine Management:Strictly follow established daily routines, individualised care plans, and behaviour strategies.
Documentation:Maintain accurate, factual, andobjective support documentationand progress notes.
Risk Escalation:Actively identify andescalateany changes in participant wellbeing or safety risks.
Team Alignment:Work collaboratively within the support team and accept direction from management.
Roster Flexibility:Commit to a24/7 SIL rosterincluding mornings, afternoons, weekends, and overnights to ensure continuity of care.
