Our client, based in Truganina, is a global leader in industrial packaging, automation and end-of-line packaging solutions.
Supporting customers across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and distribution industries, they provide innovative products and services that help businesses protect, secure and transport goods efficiently.
An prospect has become available for an experienced Internal Sales Officer (Temp) to join their established and supportive team, covering a short-term maternity leave position.
This role is expected to run for a minimum of six months and offers the chance to gain experience within a respected global organisation.
While the position is being recruited as a temporary placement, there may be potential for a permanent position depending on future business requirements.
About the Role
Working within a close-knit Internal Sales team, you'll be responsible for managing customer relationships, processing orders, responding to enquiries and identifying opportunities to grow existing business.
This is not a high-pressure sales environment.
Instead, the focus is on delivering exceptional service to long-term customers, many of whom have partnered with the business for years.
You'll become a trusted point of contact while supporting customers with their ongoing product and service requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
Process customer orders and quotations
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Follow up with inactive customers to re-engage business relationships
Provide product information and customer support
Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met




Maintain accurate records within company systems
Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service
About You
You are a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.
To be successful, you will bring:
Previous experience in Internal Sales, Customer Service, Account Management or Sales Support
A professional and confident phone manner
Strong administration and organisational skills
Experience processing orders and managing customer enquiries
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong computer literacy and confidence navigating multiple systems
Available to work Monday to Friday - on-site full-time hours(38 hours per week).
This is not negotiable.
SAP, Sage or similar ERP system experience
Experience within manufacturing, industrial, wholesale, distribution, engineering or packaging environments
