n We're looking for a Fullstack Developer with experience working at a software vendor (SaaS, PaaS, or product company) and prior exposure to microservice-based or service-oriented systems. You'll be comfortable contributing across the stack and applying lessons learned from larger or more distributed architectures to an early-stage environment.n

n
n You'll help build and scale our Node.js backend and React-based frontend, working closely with the founders and early team. While our system is not strictly microservice-oriented, experience in microservice environments will help inform how you approach API design, service boundaries, scalability, and long-term system evolution.n

n
n Experience with data engineering tools—such as AWS Glue, Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, or similar systems—is beneficial. This is not a data engineering role, but exposure to ELT concepts, asynchronous workflows, or data-intensive systems is a plus as the platform evolves.n

n Key Responsibilities / Your role in detail:n
n
n
n Build, maintain, and iterate on our core application across the Node.js backend and React frontend.n
n
n
n Develop new features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.n
n
n
n Apply experience from microservice or distributed-system environments to contribute to clean system design, well-defined interfaces, and maintainable service boundaries.n
n
n
n Partner closely with founders and product stakeholders to help define requirements and shape user-facing functionality.n
n
n
n Participate in system design discussions,



architecture decisions, and long-term technical planning.n
n
n
n Collaborate on integrations and workflows that may involve asynchronous processing, data movement, or transformations.n
n
n
n Help establish and refine early engineering processes, coding standards, and development best practices.n
n
n
n Experiment, prototype, and explore ideas quickly to validate concepts and uncover the best solutions.n
n
n
n
n
n
n Skills, qualifications & Experience:n
n
n
n 3+ years of professional software development experience (flexible based on candidate strength).n
n
n
n Experience working at a software vendor or product-based company.n
n
n
n Strong experience with
JavaScript/TypeScript,
Node.js, and contemporary frontend frameworks (React preferred).n
n
n
n Prior experience building or working within service-oriented or microservice-based systems, with an understanding of API design and system boundaries.n
n
n
n Ability and willingness to work as a fullstack generalist, contributing across frontend, backend, and system design.n
n
n
n Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.n
n
n
n Experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred).n
n
n
n Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous early-stage startup environment.n
n
