Working at the new Early Parenting Centre at our McKellar Centre

About the Role
We are seeking to employ a General Practitioner to work as a consultant alongside Paediatricians, registrars and allied health in our multidisciplinary general paediatric clinics (0-18 years, BRANCHS), based at the Early Parenting Centre, McKellar.
This position reflects a recent commitment to investing in the provision of general paediatric outpatient services across the Barwon region and will complement existing outpatient clinics based at University Hospital Geelong and community child health clinics located at Barwon North.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality outpatient care in a general paediatric clinic, working within a multidisciplinary team under appropriate supervision
Provide safe, evidence-based, patient- and family-centred care, supporting informed decision-making and chronic disease management
Contribute to clinical quality and safety through adherence to standards, policies, and continuous improvement initiatives
Support a positive team culture through collaboration, communication,



and participation in meetings and shared clinical responsibilities
What we're looking for
Medical degree, eligible for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Fellowship
FRACGP or equivalent
Possess a genuine interest in paediatric outpatient care
