n Searson Buck is partnering with a growing Tasmanian business to recruit an Accountant into a broad and highly visible role supporting multiple entities and business operations.

n Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll gain exposure across reporting, cashflow, forecasting, compliance and commercial finance while developing a deeper understanding of how financial information drives real business outcomes.

The Opportunity
n This role offers far more than processing transactions and reporting numbers.
n You'll become a key member of the finance team, helping maintain the financial integrity of the business while supporting planning, decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
n Working across multiple entities, you'll contribute to financial reporting, cashflow management, budgeting, forecasting and compliance while helping leadership understand what's driving performance and where opportunities exist.
n Key responsibilities include:

Driving month-end reporting, reconciliations and general ledger integrity.
n
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
n
Preparing management reports, analysis and financial commentary.
n
Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and intercompany accounting.
n
Supporting tax, compliance and audit requirements.
n




Identifying process improvements and efficiency opportunities.
n
Partnering with stakeholders to support business performance and informed decision-making.
n

Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
