THE ROLE
n
At Duratec, we're looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow our business across WA. This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a desk updating CRMs and attending internal meetings all week.
n
We're looking for someone who enjoys getting in front of clients, building relationships, uncovering opportunities before they hit the market and helping turn those opportunities into real projects; someone who gets a genuine buzz from winning.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Building relationships with existing and new clients
n
Identifying opportunities before they go to tender and proactively guiding them through the sales cycle to maximise successful outcomes for Duratec
n
Working with operational teams to develop win strategies
n
Opening doors into new markets and clients
n
Helping clients understand how Duratec can solve their challenges
n
Supporting major pursuits and submissions
n
Representing Duratec across industry events, networks and customer meetings
n
Creating opportunities that turn into real revenue and long-term partnerships
n
n
ABOUT YOU
n
n
Business development experience within construction, infrastructure, defence, mining, energy or related sectors
n




Strong relationship-building skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain client networks
n
Commercially astute and capable of identifying opportunities before they go to market
n
Driven by winning work and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships
n
Confident communicator who can engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
n
Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a client-facing role
n
Established industry networks across WA with the ability to open doors and create new business opportunities
n
Strong planning, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced project environment
n
