About the role
The firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager or Manager to join its growing Business Services and Tax team. For the right candidate the firm will be open to applications of a strong Senior Accountant. Reporting directly to the Partners, the successful candidate will assist in managing an established client portfolio, providing accounting and taxation advice, and supporting the development of junior team members.
Key responsibilities
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
Providing accounting, taxation and business advisory support to clients
Managing client relationships and responding to technical queries
Working closely with Partners to deliver practical solutions for clients
Reviewing work and mentoring junior accountants
Assisting with client projects and ensuring deadlines are met
Experience
Must have experience in Australian public practice, ideally at Senior Accountant, Assistant Manager or Manager level




CA/CPA qualified or in the process
Degree in Commerce, Business or Accounting
Strong technical knowledge across Business Services and taxation
Experience with Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks Online highly regarded
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team
