Cootamundra Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 12-week contract basis, commencing 9 November ****. Based in Cootamundra, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic acute healthcare setting where you'll assess emergency presentations, prioritise patients, and deliver timely emergency interventions. You'll be part of a team committed to providing quality emergency and acute care to the local community.
12-week contract role in a busy Emergency Department
Start date: 9 November ****
Hands-on clinical work in triage, assessment, and emergency interventions
Preferred Requirements
Minimum 12 months of recent Emergency Department experience
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification




Demonstrated competence in triage assessment and patient prioritisation
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or equivalent experience
Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
