Job Description
Our client, a market leader in wholesale floral and potted products, priding themselves on product quality and customer service are seeking to recruit Floral Wrappers/florists with previous experience or training to join our team on a casual basis
3 days per week.
n We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work within a retail space who will ensure the highest quality customer service, floral ranges and flower arrangements are provided for the store's customers. Recent graduates of floristry training encouraged to apply.
n Located in Coburg North, duties will include:
n
n
Wrapping of mixed and single floral bunches (small and large)
n
Bouquet arrangements to customer specification
n
Use of specialised gift-wrapping materials
n
Advising customers on floral selections
n
Merchandising the store to showcase designs and quality
n
Maintaining stock levels
n
Maintaining a safe, clean,



and well-organised working and shopping environment and comply with all applicable health and safety procedures and protected work practices.

To be successful, candidates will have the following:
n

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively unsupervised
n
Certificate 3 in Floristry or equivalent experience
n
Ability to follow instructions and procedures
n
Passion for floral retail
n
Creative flair
n
Effective time management skills
n
Strong work ethic
n
Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness
n
Available to work shifts on Friday & Saturday (9am – 5pm) Sunday (10am-2pm),
n
Previous exposure to a retail environment would be advantageous
n
n
