Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Wiz Cloud Security Expert
to support a large-scale cloud security and governance program for a leading banking client.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‐on experience with the
Wiz Cloud Security Platform
, cloud security architecture, vulnerability management, compliance monitoring, and security posture management across multi-cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead implementation, onboarding, and optimization of the
Wiz Cloud Security Platform
.
Configure and manage cloud security posture management (CSPM), vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks within Wiz.
Integrate Wiz with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.
Monitor and remediate cloud security risks, misconfigurations, and vulnerabilities.
Develop security dashboards, reports, and executive-level metrics.
Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Security Operations, and Risk teams.
Design and implement cloud security controls aligned with banking regulatory requirements.
Support cloud security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
Implement automation for security monitoring and remediation workflows.
Provide technical guidance and best practices on cloud security architecture and governance.
Required Skills & Experience




5+ years of experience in Cloud Security Engineering or Cloud Security Operations.
2+ years of hands‐on experience with
Wiz Security Platform
.
Strong experience with: AWS, Azure, and/or GCPCloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)Vulnerability ManagementIAM and Identity SecurityContainer and Kubernetes SecuritySecurity Compliance Frameworks (CIS, NIST, PCI-DSS, APRA CPS 234)
Experience in integrating Wiz with SIEM, SOAR, and ticketing platforms.
Robust understanding of cloud-native security services.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
Scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in banking or financial services environments.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD security.
Relevant certifications: Wiz Certified Practitioner (preferred)AWS Security SpecialtyAzure Security Engineer AssociateCISSP, CCSP, or CISM
Successful onboarding and optimization of cloud workloads into Wiz.
Improved cloud security posture and vulnerability remediation processes.
Compliance and risk reporting aligned with banking requirements.
Security automation and operational excellence across cloud environments.
