The Opportunity
As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, refurbishment and maintenance of underground longwall mining equipment and associated components.
Key responsibilities include:
Structural steel fabrication and welding
Repair and refurbishment of mining equipment
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Maintaining quality, safety and production standards
Working collaboratively within a skilled workshop team
About You
To be successful you will have:
Solid commitment to quality and safety
Ability to read engineering drawings
Ability to work independently and within a team
Legal rights to work in Australia
Highly Regarded
Longwall or underground mining equipment experience
Overhead crane experience
Current Driver's Licence
Experience in mining, manufacturing or heavy industry
