About the role
As a
Disability Support Worker
, working within our Supported Independent Living homes, you'll provide person-centred support that empowers people with disability to build independence, confidence and connection.
You'll be part of a supportive team that genuinely cares about the people we support — and about each other.
This role required availability for multiple sleepovers shifts per fortnight.
Permanent part-time hours up to 55 per fortnight located at SIL home in Warwick, Queensland.
What you'll be doing
Supporting people with daily living activities, personal care and routines
Assisting clients with manual handling using hoists and slings
Encouraging independence, choice and inclusion
Supporting community access, social activities and wellbeing
Building trusted relationships with clients, families and colleagues
Maintaining safe, respectful and positive environments
What we're looking for

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Reliability and a positive,



can-do attitude
Availability to work a range of shifts (including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and sleepovers – penalty rates apply)
The capacity to meet the physical requirements as manual handling tasks are involved
A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous but not required
You will be required to hold or willing to obtain
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
First Aid & CPR Certification
National Criminal History Check (Police Check)
Australian open Driver's License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle
