We're seeking an experienced and passionate General Practitioner to join our team.

About the role:
You'll provide culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care to clients attending Saturday clinics.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to the delivery of best-practice services that reflect DDHS's commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

You are a confident and compassionate GP who is committed to equity in healthcare and thrives in a collaborative, cross-cultural environment.
What you need to apply?
Current registration as a General Practitioner with AHPRA
Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity
Ability to work independently and within a team
High standard of written and computer literacy
Desirable:
Experience in Indigenous or Northern Territory primary health care
Supervisory experience with GP registrars
Familiarity with Communicare
Knowledge of Medicare and Practice Incentive Programs
Understanding of Aboriginal Health Worker career structures
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer support and financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
