Heads of Noosa Brewing Company is seeking a
Kitchen Hand
to join our dynamic hospitality team in
Noosaville, Queensland
. This is a
casual position
that offers flexibility whilst contributing to the smooth operation of our kitchen. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a vital role in supporting our culinary team, ensuring our guests enjoy exceptional food and beverage experiences in a welcoming brewery environment. This position is perfect for those looking to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry or build upon existing kitchen skills.
Key responsibilities
Preparing and organising ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and other food items
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware
Assisting chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks as directed
Managing waste disposal and ensuring the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations
Restocking kitchen supplies and maintaining inventory of essential items
Supporting the smooth flow of kitchen operations during service periods
Following food safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
Assisting with general kitchen duties and tasks as required by senior kitchen staff
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential for enthusiastic candidates
A genuine passion for hospitality and food preparation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced environment and adapt to changing priorities




Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work casual shifts as required
Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to take direction from senior kitchen staff
Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods whilst performing kitchen duties
Food safety knowledge or willingness to obtain relevant certificates
