Procurement Category Manager - Fleet & Equipment

We're seeking an experienced
Procurement Category Manager
to lead sourcing and supplier strategies across our Fleet, Equipment, Parts and Maintenance portfolio. You'll partner with senior stakeholders, negotiate major contracts and identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs and deliver value across a critical national operation.
What you'll do
Lead sourcing activities, tenders and supplier negotiations
Develop and execute category strategies across fleet and maintenance spend
Build strong relationships with operational and commercial stakeholders
Drive cost optimisation and supplier performance initiatives
Manage key supplier partnerships and governance processes
Deliver commercial insights and recommendations that influence business decisions
What you'll bring
Proven experience in procurement, category management or strategic sourcing
Experience managing fleet, maintenance, equipment or asset-intensive categories
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and identify opportunities
Confident stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence outcomes
A proactive,
hands-on approach and the ability to hit the ground running
Collaborate with senior business leaders
Versatile, fast-paced environment
