This is an Identified position.

A day in the life of a ISEP Youth Coach can include:
Successfully deliver the Indigenous Skills and Employment Program
Manage a caseload of participants who have vocational, and non-vocational barriers to employment/study/health services.
Ensure participants can participate and develop their personal journeys
Conduct initial assessments of participants to identify short- and long-term goals
Attend local secondary schools to provide information to staff and students about ISEP
Engage with young people in the local community
Support participants to access education and training opportunities
Provide pre-employment and post-employment support and training to participants
Participate in local community, employment and networking events and forums
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated record of success in delivering employment and or community/non-vocational services to clients
A formal qualification, minimum Mental Health.
Youth Work, Community Services, Career Development or equivalent
Previous experience in Youth Work,



Community Services or Employment Services (Desirable)
Well-developed organisational and time-management skills
Highly developed communication and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated record of success in delivering employment and or community/non-vocational services to clients

Have full working rights in Australia
Have a current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
Complete anAustralia History Criminal Check
Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
