We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our high-performing Payroll Team within the Hungry Jack's National Support Office.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll across a workforce of approximately 25,000 employees nationally, while providing exceptional support to employees and stakeholders across Australia.This is also an exciting opportunity to join the business during a significant period of systems transformation, with the recent implementation of the current and exciting Workday platform across the organisation.Payroll Processing ResponsibilitiesAssisting with end-to-end weekly payroll processing in a team environment using Workday PayrollData entry and maintenance for new starters, employee changes, and terminationsReview and management of Time & Attendance data from LIFELENZCalculation of various leave types including parental leave, annual leave, long service leave, sick leave, and workers compensationAssisting with month-end and year-end payroll processesAccurate interpretation of Awards and EBAsResponding to payroll enquiries via email, phone,



and JIRA ticketing systemMonthly and year-to-date payroll reconciliationsAssisting with superannuation and payroll tax reconciliationsParticipating in end-of-month and end-of-financial-year activitiesSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across payroll systems and processesEssential Skills & Experience1-2 years' experience within a high-volume, fast-paced payroll environmentStrong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation requirements, Awards and EBAsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracyAbility to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage competing prioritiesDesirableExperience using Workday or similar payroll/HRIS systemsPayroll qualifications (Certificate or Diploma highly regarded)Intermediate Excel skills including formulas and pivot tablesWhy Join Hungry Jack's?
