What you can expect in a day in this role:
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will be expected to be hands-on with the daily operations, including gaming, food & beverage across the pub.
You'll lead and manage a close-knit team during your shift, always ensuring exceptional customer service while fostering strong relationships within the community.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
Lead the on-shift team to provide memorable customer serviceand experiences
Ensure health, safety, gaming and food safety operations procedures are followed
Assist with staff scheduling and break management in coordination with the Hotel Manager
Assist with handling complaints and issues, as required
Opening and closing duties, including the bar and bistro

What you will bring to the role:

We are also looking for:
Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
An understanding of food & beverage products and services
Current Tasmanian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
Current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG), or able to obtain
Ability to work a variety of night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
Experience in a pub-style venue or similar
