As
Associate Director, Governance and HumanResources
, you will lead two critical functions that influence how theorganisation manages risk, builds capability and responds to change.
This newly created senior leadership role provides a rare opportunity to shape organisational direction, strengthen accountability and ensure leaders have the insight, frameworks and capability to make confident decisions.
Reporting to the Assistant Commissioner, Strategy, Corporate Services and Registry Services, you will provide strategic advice on complex issues, with decisions often carrying significant operational, legal, financial and reputational considerations.
Your key areas of focus will include:
Lead governance thatsupports confident decisions:
Set thestrategic direction for governance, enterprise risk and assurance,strengthening accountability, controls and visibility of the issues that mattermost.
Strengthenorganisational resilience:
Leadbusiness continuity, resilience and preparedness, ensuring the organisation isequipped to respond to disruption, learn from experience and strengthen itsways of working.
Shape workforcecapability and effectiveness:
Set thestrategic direction for people, culture, workforce capability andorganisational development, connecting workforce priorities with organisationalperformance and future needs.
Lead specialist leadersand build capability:




Lead theManager, Governance and Manager, Human Resources, creating the conditions forspecialist leaders and their teams to deliver high-quality advice, buildcapability and drive improvement.
Strengthen policy,information management and governance:
Shapeorganisational policy, records and information governance, ensuring leadershave reliable information, clear accountabilities and effective frameworks tosupport sound decisions and respond to change.
We are seeking a senior leader who brings strategic judgement, robust executive advisory skills and the ability to lead through complexity.
To thrive in this role, you will need substantial experience across governance, risk, human resources or comparable functions to influence organisation-wide priorities, advise executives on complex matters and turn insight into practical and sustainable outcomes.
