We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of a major rail infrastructure project.
You will take responsibility for project financial performance, contract management and subcontract packages, while leading a commercial team and working closely with the wider project leadership team.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the commercial strategy and performance of the project.
Manage forecasting, CVRs, budgets, risk and opportunity.
Oversee NEC contract administration, variations, change and contractual entitlements.
Manage subcontract procurement, payments, final accounts and disputes.
Provide commercial input into programme, design change and project risk.
Lead and develop a commercial team of 5+ people.
Ensure the project achieves its financial and commercial targets.
Experience required:
Solid commercial management experience on major infrastructure projects valued at £100m+.
Rail experience highly desirable.
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial/contract law.
Experience managing sizeable commercial teams.
Degree or equivalent in a commercial discipline.
MRICS or CICES desirable.
