You will prepare and cook meals, help keep service running smoothly and maintain a clean, organised kitchen.
Key responsibilities
- Food preparation and cooking across the grill, fryer and pizza sections
- Following recipes and maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portion sizes
- Working with kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver meals promptly
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, workstations and preparation areas
- Assisting with receiving, storing and handling food supplies
About you
- Relevant cookery training or equivalent industry experience
- Experience working in a busy kitchen
- Sound knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety and hygiene
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive communication skills and a calm approach during busy services
- A reliable, punctual and positive approach to work
- Availability for night and weekend shifts
- A current Food Safety Certificate is desirable
