- Location: Bardon, Brisbane West QLD
- Job type: Permanent part-time
- Hours: Monday & Thursday, 7.30am–5.30pm (20 hrs/week), growing to 3 days with Tuesday afternoons
- Pay: Up to $40/hr + super + leave (+ birthday leave)
- Children: Girl (16 months) and boy (4 years), plus a mini dachshund
- Start: ASAP
About the role
We're seeking an experienced, reliable nanny to provide warm, attentive childcare for a 16-month-old in a beautiful Bardon home. This is a long-term nanny role, ideal for a someone with proven childcare experience who has demonstrated a stable working history who especially loves the toddler years. You'll be in sole charge, focusing mainly on the little one, with the occasional kindy pick-up for her big brother.

Requirements
Essential:
- 3+ years (min) nanny or childcare experience
- Recent experience caring for toddlers
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Recent National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current driver's licence (family car provided)
- Glowing, verifiable & recent references
Desirable:
- Early childhood qualification (Cert III or Diploma)
- A love of music, singing and outdoor play
Responsibilities
- Sole-charge care of a 16-month-old
- Play-based learning: music, dancing and outdoor play
- Daily outings
- Basic meal preparation for the children
- Children's laundry
- Light child-related household duties
- Feeding the family dog
- Occasional kindy pick-up (later on)
