As a Gas Distribution Officer (GDO), you'll play a key role in maintaining, upgrading and expanding our gas distribution network. Working as part of a skilled field team, you'll contribute across a broad range of activities, including network maintenance, asset replacement, new installations and network expansion projects.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys practical work, problem solving and working outdoors, while contributing to the secure and reliable delivery of an essential service to our customers and communities.

What you'll be involved in

No two days are quite the same. As part of our field operations team,



you'll play a hands-on role in keeping our gas network safe, reliable and ready for the future through:

- Maintaining and renewing critical gas network assets.

- Building and commissioning new infrastructure that connects homes, businesses and communities.

- Supporting network expansion and upgrade projects across the region.

- Responding to faults and emergency situations when they arise.

- Inspecting, testing and maintaining equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.

- Working alongside experienced team members to deliver important outcomes in the field.
