Treatment Room Team Leader (Registered Nurse)

About the Role

An exciting prospect exists for an experienced Registered Nurse to step into a leadership role as Treatment Room Team Leader at Our Medical Morayfield.

Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will coordinate the onsite nursing team and provide clinical support to GPs, while playing a key role in ensuring high-quality treatment room operations and patient care. You will support a broad range of clinical services including acute presentations, chronic disease management, immunisations, wound care, iron infusions, ECGs, spirometry and point-of-case testing.

You will provide leadership, guidance, and hands-on support to the nursing team, while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide clinical support to GPs, including acute presentations, administering medications and immunisations, chronic disease management, wound care, ECGs, spirometry and point-of-case testing
- Assist with clinical procedures and patient care
- Conduct patient triage and prioritise care effectively
- Lead and coordinate the nursing team within the treatment room




- Support rostering in collaboration with the Practice Manager
- Manage stock control of consumables and medical supplies
- Ensure high standards of sterilisation for instruments and workspaces
- Support onboarding, training, and development of new nursing staff
- Contribute to a safe, compliant, and high-quality clinical environment

About You

You are a confident and experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for patient care and team leadership. You thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting and are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.

You will bring:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in a medical centre treatment room (preferred but not essential)
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service and patient engagement skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands
- Proficient computer skills (including Best Practice and Microsoft Office)
