Casual Duty Manager – Jefferies Provedore

Fresh produce, quality groceries, a busy café, giftware, Liquor and a florist, all under one roof. Jefferies Provedore is a local favourite with two stores (Blackburn and Croydon Hills) and a genuine community feel. We’re looking for a casual Duty Manager to lead shifts, keep the team humming and make sure every customer leaves happy.

The Role

You’ll be the person on the floor who keeps everything running, mostly at Blackburn with the odd shift at Croydon Hills. It’s hands‑on, varied and never dull.

Oversee day-to-day operations across the whole store, from fresh produce to flowers

Lead and motivate the team with clear direction and valuable energy

Open and close the store as required





Keep shelves and displays stocked, tidy and looking their best

Jump in wherever needed: registers, coffee machine, helping customers

Handle issues calmly and sensibly

Keep the store safe, clean and welcoming for customers and staff

About You

Retail or hospitality experience (leadership experience is a bonus)

A confident communicator who stays cool under pressure

Proactive and happy to lead by example

Reliable, responsible and a true team player

Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays

RSA certificate, or willing to get one
