CommBank is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to set engineering direction across a technology domain, shaping architecture, platform investments and reusable patterns. You’ll collaborate with multiple teams to move from fragmented systems to shared, scalable capabilities in a highly regulated setting.

You will mentor engineers, define standards for CI/CD, security and observability, and contribute hands-on to deliver reliable, enterprise-grade services and APIs.
