With our One UPS advantage and comprehensive service portfolio, we are optimally positioned to keep our clients competitive in an increasingly complex market.

The opportunity

We store and manage inventory for multiple clients, including temperature-sensitive and high-value products. As Inventory Controller, you will keep our stock records accurate, our counts timely and our reporting reliable.

You will:

- Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple client accounts and warehouse management systems (WMS)

- Plan and carry out cycle counts and full stock takes, investigate variances, and make approved adjustments
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as missing stock, damages, mislocations, and batch or serial mismatches
- Monitor expiry dates, batch and serial tracking, and stock status (available, quarantined, on hold)
- Prepare daily, weekly or monthly inventory reports for clients and internal teams, using Excel and WMS exports

- Perform accurate and timely data entry in client and internal systems
- Reconcile stock between our WMS records and client ERP/SAP data where required
- Liaise with clients, carriers, and warehouse staff on stock queries and exceptions
- Support audits, including customer, quality, and regulatory audits, by providing records and evidence
- Follow SOPs, quality procedures, and safety requirements, and suggest process improvements
- Keep a clean audit trail for all stock movements and adjustments

About You:

- Experience in an inventory control, stock control, or warehouse administration role in a 3PL or similar environment
- Hands-on experience with more than one WMS, and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters, formulas, and data cleaning
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of data accuracy
- Experience running cycle counts, stock takes, and variance investigations
- Good written and verbal communication, including working directly with clients
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities and deadlines

Why Join Us?

- Work within a dynamic and growing transport and logistics business.
- Be part of a supportive team environment.
- Gain exposure to domestic, international, and time-critical freight operations.
- Opportunity for career development and progression within the organisation.

All successful applicants will be required to complete a National Police Check.

If you are a motivated logistics professional who enjoys working in a quick-paced environment and thrives on coordinating freight movements, we'd love to hear from you.
