Family Lawyer | 4–6 Years PAE (min. 3 days/week + versatile work)

Our clientis a highly reputable boutique family law law firm with offices in NSW and Qld. The firm has been consistently recognized as a leader in family law.

Its boutique Sydney CBD office is now looking to add a family lawyer to its team.

The Role

The role requires you to work at least 3 days/week, with flexible work arrangements only requiring you to be at the office 1 day/week.

Our client is seeking an experienced family lawyer with 4-6 years of post admission experience to work on a diverse portfolio of family law matters. This role offers an incredible opportunity to work closely with the Special Counsel based in Sydney, providing you with direct mentorship from an industry expert, and you will also be exposed to the wider team interstate.

The role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a wide range of family law matters including divorce, property settlements, de facto relationships, and more. You will be exposed to complex property/financial matters as well as complex high-net-worth litigation and delicate parenting disputes.





Occasional interstate travel (approximately one day every two months or so) may be required in this role.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

4–6 years of post-admission experience specifically in Family Law from an Australian law firm.

Strong drafting skills and a solid understanding of the Family Law Act 1975 and FCFCOA rules.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a compassionate approach to client care.

Ability to confidently manage your own files while knowing you have a strong support system.
