Swan Christian College is seeking an engaging and passionateDesign and Technology Teacher to join ourSecondary school team in a full-time,permanent position commencing 1 January2027.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Deliver engaging Design & Technology programs tailored todiverse student needs.
- Track, monitor and report on student progress andachievement.
- Maintain a positive, safe and effective classroomenvironment.
- Equip students with solid organisational and studyskills.
- Partner with parents and staff to support student progressand wellbeing.
- Contribute to the pastoral, co-curricular and Christianlife of the College.
- Demonstrates a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christand is an active member of a Christian Church, living inaccordance with the Association’s Statement of Faith andEducational Objectives.
- Sound knowledge of Design & Technology, including CNCtechnologies,



with the ability to teach Metal andWoodworking.
- Strong understanding of contemporary teaching, learning andassessment practices that support diverse student needs.
- Demonstrated ability to meet the National ProfessionalStandards for Teachers and maintain high professionalstandards.
- Commitment to building positive and effective relationshipswith students, staff, parents and the wider Collegecommunity.
- Holds a current Working with Children Check and valid TRBWAregistration, or willingness to apply for one.

Desirable SelectionCriteria:

(Include where appropriate in your response)

- Experience with Autocad or other drawing suites isdesirable.
- Experience teaching Design and Graphics.
- Be competent in the use of technology applications in aneducational setting.
