What you can expect in a day in this role:

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will be expected to be hands-on with the daily operations, including gaming, food & beverage across the pub. You'll lead and manage a close-knit team during your shift, always ensuring exceptional customer service while fostering strong relationships within the community.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Lead the on-shift team to provide memorable customer serviceand experiences
- Ensure health, safety, gaming and food safety operations procedures are followed
- Assist with staff scheduling and break management in coordination with the Hotel Manager
- Assist with handling complaints and issues, as required
- Opening and closing duties, including the bar and bistro

What you will bring to the role:

We are also looking for:

- Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
- An understanding of food & beverage products and services
- Current Tasmanian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
- Current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG), or able to obtain
- Ability to work a variety of night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
- Experience in a pub-style venue or similar
