Branch Manager | Toowoomba

Cooper Fluid Systems is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Branch Manager to lead our Toowoomba operations.

This is a key leadership role with responsibility for the overall performance of the branch, including sales and profitability, operational efficiency, customer service, inventory, safety and the leadership and development of the branch team.

You will lead the day-to-day operations while identifying opportunities for growth, strengthening customer relationships and ensuring the branch consistently delivers a high standard of service.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead the overall day-to-day operations and performance of the Toowoomba branch.
- Drive sales growth, gross profit and overall branch profitability in line with agreed budgets and business plans.
- Develop and implement branch sales strategies to grow the customer base and identify new business opportunities.
- Lead, coach and develop branch employees, creating a positive, accountable and high-performing team environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while ensuring a consistently high level of customer service.
- Oversee workshop and service delivery, ensuring quality, productivity and customer expectations are achieved.
- Manage branch inventory, stock levels and assets to support operational and customer requirements.
- Monitor branch expenses, financial performance and operational costs against budget.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve branch efficiency, productivity and service delivery.




- Ensure branch operations comply with company policies, procedures, safety requirements and relevant legislation.
- Work closely with regional management and other areas of the business to support broader company objectives.

About You

You will be an experienced operational leader with strong commercial awareness and the ability to successfully manage people, customers and branch performance.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Previous experience in branch management, operations management or a similar leadership position.
- Experience within the industrial, hydraulic, engineering, trade or related services sector will be highly regarded.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience coaching, developing and motivating teams.
- Sound commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, costs, sales performance and profit and loss.
- A strong understanding of sales management and the ability to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across customers, employees and key stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience within workshop, service, warehousing or branch operations would be highly regarded.
- Relevant trade or engineering qualifications and/or extensive experience within a trade-based industry would be advantageous.




- Competency across Microsoft Office, with experience using D365 or similar business systems considered advantageous.
