About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plumber & Drainer to join our growing team on a full time basis in Rockhampton/Yeppoon, QLD. This position within our company is to deliver exceptional service to our clients. As a Plumber & Drainer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and drainage systems across a diverse range of properties. This role offers the opportunity to work on varied projects, develop your skills further, and become an integral part of our team.

Key responsibilities

Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects

Diagnosing and troubleshooting drainage issues using appropriate testing and inspection techniques

Performing routine maintenance work including pipe repairs, tap replacements, and fixture installations

Carrying out drainage work such as clearing blockages, inspecting pipes, and installing drainage systems

Reading and interpreting plumbing plans and technical drawings

Ensuring all work complies with relevant Australian plumbing codes and regulations

Operating and maintaining plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively

Providing professional customer service and communicating clearly with clients about work undertaken

Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used





Supporting apprentices and junior team members where applicable

What we're looking for

Current qualification as a licensed Plumber and Drainer recognised in Queensland

Proven experience working in the plumbing and drainage industry, ideally with both residential and commercial backgrounds

Strong understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations applicable in Australia

Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving plumbing and drainage problems

Competency in using a range of plumbing tools and equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and customer service abilities

Physical fitness and ability to work in varied environments and conditions

Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

A commitment to safety and maintaining high professional standards

Experience with drainage inspection camera systems or CCTV technology is preferred

Knowledge of water conservation and sustainable plumbing practices is an advantage
