PROPERTY SERVICES ASSISTANT

Full-time ongoing position – (immediate appointment)

We are seeking a reliable, proactive and service-focused Property Services Assistant help maintain a safe, functional and welcoming setting across the College. In this hands-on role, you will support a range of planned and reactive maintenance activities, equipment servicing, logistics and daily operations.

Responsibilities will include completing minor building repairs, responding to maintenance requests, logistics, event support and conducting facility inspections to ensure our buildings and shared spaces are safe, secure, well-maintained and presented to a high standard.

Working both independently and as part of a supportive team, you will manage competing priorities, respond flexibly to changing operational needs and build positive working relationships with staff, contractors and the wider College community.





The successful candidate will demonstrate:

An ability to repair, service and maintain various types of infrastructure and equipment.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Organisational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritise and adapt to changing operational demands.

A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to work independently when required.

An ability to use basic technology to progress maintenance requests and operational tasks.

A current driver's licence and a valid Working with Children Check.

A trade-related qualification would be highly desirable.
