Established in 2004, Davis Lawyers is a boutique Brisbane firm advising commercial clients across Australia in real estate, banking and finance, and corporate law. We combine senior-level expertise with practical, commercially focused advice and the responsiveness of a specialist practice.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated solicitor or associate with 3–5 years’ post-admission experience to join our team. You will work on sophisticated transactions for lenders, developers, investors and business owners, with meaningful autonomy, direct client contact and a transparent pathway for progression.

This is a long-term career opportunity—not a short-term resourcing role. We are looking for a lawyer who wants to develop into a senior leadership position and contribute to the future growth of the firm.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the firm’s principal, you will manage matters from commencement to completion across:

- commercial and residential conveyancing in Queensland and New South Wales
- commercial and residential property developments
- off-the-plan sales, acquisitions and land subdivisions
- property due diligence, structuring and transaction advice
- commercial lending and secured finance transactions across Australia
- loan, mortgage and security documentation
- shareholder, unitholder and joint venture arrangements
- commercial and retail leasing and general commercial transactions
- business acquisitions and disposals

You will have direct client contact,



responsibility for your own files and the support needed to deliver high-quality, commercially practical advice.

About You

We are seeking be a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys taking ownership of matters and building trusted client relationships. Ideally, you will have:

- 3–5 years’ post-admission experience in property, commercial and/or banking and finance law
- strong drafting, technical and analytical skills
- the ability to manage matters with appropriate autonomy
- clear communication and strong client relationship skills
- commercial judgement and a practical approach to problem-solving
- excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management
- a willingness to take responsibility and contribute to the growth of the practice
