Perks of the Role:

Autonomy to manage your own schedule

Full training and handover from the outgoing I.T Administrator

What you'll be doing:

Administering and maintaining Windows servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP

Managing staff and student accounts, Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace and backups

Setting up, imaging and deploying desktops, laptops and peripherals

Diagnosing and repairing hardware faults, and handling warranty claims

Configuring and troubleshooting switches, firewalls and wireless access points

Providing Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk support to staff and students

Supporting classroom tech, AV and school events

Keeping clear documentation and an up-to-date asset register

What we're looking for:

A reliable and capable I.T operator at Level 2 or above, with a few years (3+) of hands-on experience

Server administration experience with Windows Server technologies (2012 and newer)

Solid understanding of Active Directory, Domain Controllers and Group Policy (AD/DC, GPO)

Desktop setup and deployment, and solid hardware troubleshooting skills

Hands-on experience with access points and switches, plus networking fundamentals including firewalls, VLANs, DHCP and DNS

Strong documentation skills and a keen eye for detail

Well-presented, patient, and able to maintain a professional demeanour

Physically capable of walking between two campuses (~150 m apart)

Able to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team

Punctual, sharp and dependable

Confident communicator with clear interpersonal skills

School or education experience is a plus

Must haves:

Own vehicle and a current, valid driver's licence (required for travel between nearby campuses), held for the duration of employment

WWCC (Working with Children Check) or the ability to obtain one, held for the duration of employment

National Police Check

Permanent right to work in Australia

Respect and tolerance for others, and for the values of a religious Jewish school

Commitment to child safety

This is a dynamic, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to grow with an expanding team.

We're not just looking to fill a position — we're looking for the right fit: someone who’s proactive, adaptable, and genuinely values being part of a close-knit, supportive I.T team.
