CJD has an excellent prospect for a hands-on HR Advisor who enjoys building strong relationships and providing practical, high-quality HR support to employees and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle.

This role will involve you in the final development phase of our HRIS (ELMO) onboarding and recruitment system. As a Champion user of the software, you will support the implementation and training across CJD. Other key responsibilities include;

Position Responsibilities

Advise on employment conditions, policies and relevant legislation

Provide interpretation and coaching to line managers regarding CJD’s policies and procedures.

Manage employee relations, performance and workplace matters

Contribute to continuous improvement of HR strategies, processes, and procedures.

Contribute to our HRIS implementation and become a Champion the effective use of ELMO software

Proactively engage and assist with performance management

Ensure all activities undertaken comply with relevant Acts, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

Play an active role in bringing CJD’s values and culture to life.

The successful candidate must have:

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent experience in HR.

Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work Act and Modern awards.

Hands-on experience across employee relations, performance management and recruitment

The confidence and credibility to advise senior leaders and challenge constructively when required

Excellent judgement, discretion and the ability to navigate sensitive people matters

Experience with ELMO software would be an advantage
