Your Contribution
As an experienced Estimator / Cost Planner, you will undertake cost planning activities, prepare accurate tender estimates and help manage subcontractor procurement to achieve best value for the business.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Establishing work winning and procurement strategies that benefit the business's bottom line.
- Contribute to winning Design and Construct bids that range from $100M to $250M.
- Execute alternative bids, input into the design and propose value management initiatives.
- Produce accurate high-level estimates and detailed cost plans.
- Manage the procurement of local and overseas subcontractors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with our site and design teams.
- Build and manage relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
About You
You have:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in estimating, procurement and/or cost planning.
- Robust communication skills and the confidence to engage with a wide range of people.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- A strong belief in and commitment to the "one team" approach.
- Ability to thrive in an autonomous environment and quickly adapt.
- Capability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
