We are seeking an experienced family lawyer with approximately 7–8 years’ post-admission experience to join our team.
This role would suit a confident practitioner who enjoys taking ownership of matters, building strong client relationships and contributing to the development of a practice.

About the role
You will manage family law matters from initial consultation through to resolution. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a varied caseload involving property settlements, parenting arrangements, divorce, de facto relationships and financial agreements.
Providing clear,
strategic advice tailored to each client’s circumstances.
Drafting correspondence, court documents, affidavits, consent orders and agreements.
Representing clients in court appearances, mediations and negotiations, and briefing counsel as required.
Maintaining strong client communication, including updates on progress, costs and next steps.
Managing deadlines, billing and the financial performance of your matters.
Supporting junior team members and contributing to improvements in practice processes.
About you
You will bring:
Approximately 7–8 years’ post-admission experience, with substantial experience in Australian family law.
A current NSW practising certificate, or eligibility to obtain one.
The ability to independently manage matters, including complex financial and parenting disputes.
Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
Sound judgment and a practical approach to resolving disputes.
An empathetic, professional manner when supporting clients through sensitive situations.
Strong organisation, attention to detail and a collaborative approach.
Experience using Clio would be advantageous.
