Technical Project Manager (Cantonese Language Proficient) – Atturra
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (Cantonese Language Proficient) to lead the delivery of complex AI, data, integration and digital products for enterprise clients. This is not a traditional IT project management role. You will operate at the intersection of product, engineering, data science, systems integration and business, owning delivery from early problem definition through to production deployment and scale. You will lead multi‑disciplinary teams, work directly with senior client stakeholders, and navigate the unique challenges of AI, Data & Integration delivery, including data dependency, experimentation cycles, and evolving solution scope.
If you thrive in ambiguous environments, enjoy solving hard problems, and care about real business outcomes (not just shipping features), this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of AI, data, and automation solutions for enterprise clients.
- Lead cross-functional teams including Data engineers, ML engineers / data scientists, Software engineers, Product and UX.
- Translate business problems into structured, sequenced delivery plans.
- Manage scope, dependencies, risks, trade-offs, delivery timelines and resourcing.
- Manage quality, technical debt and production readiness.
- Run delivery across discovery, MVP, and scale phases.
- Act as the day‑to‑day senior delivery lead for clients.
- Lead steering committees, executive updates, planning and prioritisation sessions.
- Set and manage expectations around AI feasibility, limitations, iterative delivery, experimentation, data readiness and quality risks.
- Build trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders.
- Lead delivery in environments involving data pipelines and platforms, ML models and LLM‑based systems, evaluation testing and iteration cycles, MLOps deployment workflows, human‑in‑the‑loop systems, governance, security and compliance constraints.
- Proactively manage realities of AI delivery: non‑deterministic outputs, data quality and availability risks, model performance trade‑offs, ongoing monitoring and iteration post‑launch.
- Own delivery financials including resourcing, phasing, margin and burn management, balancing speed vs quality, scope vs impact, experimentation vs delivery certainty.
- Drive solutions towards adoption, measurable business impact and scalable production outcomes.
Working Conditions
- Full time permanent opportunity
- Based in Sydney
What you’ll bring
- 8–12+ years in technical project, program, or delivery management.
- Must be proficient in Cantonese language.
- Proven experience delivering complex digital, integration, data, or AI‑enabled systems.
- Experience leading multi‑disciplinary technical teams.
- Strong client‑facing experience in consulting or enterprise environments.
- Comfortable operating in environments with ambiguous scope, evolving requirements, high technical complexity, data and platform dependencies.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience delivering one or more of: AI/ML products, Data platforms, Decisioning or automation systems,
LLM‑powered or analytics‑heavy systems.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Boomi, webMethods, Workato, Mule or Azure system integrations and APIs, the ML/AI product lifecycle.
- Background in consulting, product‑led SaaS, or large‑scale transformation programs.
