Governance Risk and Compliance Solutions Pty Ltd – Sydney CBD NSW

GRC Solutions is seeking an HR Business Partner to join the Sydney team in a flexible part-time capacity. This is a hands-on chance to shape how the organisation recruits, onboards, develops and engages its people as it grows to nearly 50 employees. You will partner closely with managers and employees across office-based and remote teams, bringing sound judgement, consistency and pragmatic solutions to the full employee lifecycle. The role combines strategic input with day-to-day delivery.

Key responsibilities

Build practical career planning and development processes for employees at different career stages

Improve recruitment, selection, reference-checking, hiring documentation and onboarding

Manage the recruitment of new employees and contractors as the business grows, from role definition and sourcing through to selection and onboarding

Coach managers on performance, development, engagement and sensitive employee matters

Coordinate goal setting, check-ins, reviews, calibration and follow-up actions

Strengthen culture and connection across office-based, hybrid and remote teams

Improve employment documentation, policies, contracts, process checklists and HR records

Support workforce planning, organisation design, role levelling, remuneration and market benchmarking

Partner with Legal,



Finance and senior leaders to deliver practical, compliant people solutions

About you

Experience as an HR generalist, HR Business Partner, People & Culture professional or similar- ideally in a small to mid-sized organisation

Strong working knowledge of Australian employment practices, employee relations, HR compliance and performance management

Practical recruitment and onboarding experience, with the ability to add structure without unnecessary complexity

Confidence coaching managers through performance conversations, development planning and people challenges

Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters

Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

A hands-on mindset and comfort moving between strategic advice, execution and administration
