Deliver individual and group exercise sessions for clients with neurological and complex conditions. Run Parkinson's-specific programs, including PD Warrior classes. Deliver bone-strength programs for clients with osteoporosis. Manage workers' compensation clients, including assessments, goal setting and return-to-work reporting. Conduct home and community visits where required. Write reports and liaise with GPs, specialists, insurers and other referrers.

Key responsibilities

About you

- ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist
- Skilled indemnity insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current driver's licence and own vehicle for home visits
- Confident, motivated and a strong communicator
- Compassionate and committed to client outcomes
- Open to feedback and keen to learn
- Well organised
- Neurological rehabilitation and NDIS experience preferred but not required

multidisciplinary practice of Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, with clinics in Newcastle West and on the Central Coast and a community-based rehabilitation service covering Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Our Newcastle West clinic operates from one of the largest commercial gym facilities for Exercise Physiologists in the Hunter region. We work with clients with stroke/ABI, Parkinson's disease, MS, MND, SCI, dementia and other progressive conditions, from early diagnosis through to chronic stages, and run specialist programs including PD Warrior. We also provide osteoporosis bone-strength programs, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, return-to-work services, mental health and Aboriginal health services. Our clients are funded through NDIS, workers' compensation, DVA, My Aged Care and private health.
