About MCC Label

EGM Partners is pleased to be representing MCC Label, a global leader in premium labels, in the search for a Sales Manager to lead its Adelaide sales team. MCC’s Adelaide site is the backbone of the Australian wine and spirits label market. Now the business wants to grow beyond that base, defend and build its core accounts, increase revenue and open up recent opportunities across food, beverage and wider FMCG. This is a newly shaped leadership role and a key part of MCC Label’s national sales structure. It needs someone who leads people first, thinks commercially, and brings fresh eyes.

The role

You’ll lead a team of experienced Senior Account Managers and Account Managers. Your job is to set clear direction, coach them, and back them on the initiatives they want to run. You’ll report to the Sales Director Australia and work closely with the Adelaide site leadership team.

What you’ll do

- Lead, coach and develop the sales team, building accountability and momentum
- Own the Adelaide sales plan and drive revenue and margin growth against target
- Protect and grow key wine and spirits accounts while pursuing new markets in food,



beverage and FMCG
- Lead commercial conversations: pricing, price increases, tenders and contract proposals
- Act as the voice of the customer and the sales team at the leadership table, and manage up with confidence
- Work alongside the customer service team to sharpen processes and make it easier for customers to deal with MCC Adelaide
- Spend time on the road with customers and in the office with the team

About you

- A proven sales leader who has built engaged, high-performing teams
- Background in beverages, FMCG, packaging, print or manufacturing. Wine and spirits experience is a bonus, not a requirement
- Commercially sharp, comfortable with costing, quoting and negotiation, and you make decisions from the numbers
- Strong at building trust and motivating a team, including experienced people with deep product knowledge
- Energetic, mature and self-driven, with curiosity about where the business could go next
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM
