About the Role:

We are looking for a friendly, professional and guest-focused Guest Service Agent (GSA) to join the team at Beachcomber Hotel & Resort on a casual basis.

As one of the first points of contact for our guests, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive experience from arrival through to departure. From managing reservations and check-ins to responding to enquiries and assisting with guest requests, you’ll help ensure every guest feels welcome and well looked after.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality who enjoys working with people and being part of a supportive hotel team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome guests and deliver friendly, professional front office service
- Manage check-ins, check-outs, reservations and room allocations
- Respond to guest enquiries, requests and feedback
- Provide accurate information about the hotel, its facilities and local attractions
- Handle payments, invoices and front office transactions accurately
- Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information
- Communicate with housekeeping and other departments to support smooth operations
- Assist with resolving guest concerns and delivering effective service recovery
- Maintain a professional, organised and welcoming reception area




- Follow hotel procedures and service standards at all times

About You:

- Previous experience in hotel reception, guest services or a customer-facing hospitality role is highly regarded
- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with guests
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning hotel property management systems
- Reliable, adaptable and able to work as part of a team
- Skilled presentation and a positive attitude
- Flexible availability across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
