Join the City of Perth as a Customer ExperienceOfficer and be at the heart of the action. As one of thefirst people our community interacts with, you'll help residents,visitors, businesses and employees find solutions, access servicesand get the most out of their City experience.
This is more than a call centre role. You'll engage withcustomers across phone, email, online and face-to-face channels,juggle a variety of enquiries and tasks, and play a key role indelivering exceptional service. From supporting City initiatives tohelping people navigate Council services, you'll make a real impactwhile building valuable skills in a fast-paced, supportive anddynamic environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Be the first point of contact for enquiries across phone,email, online and face-to-face channels.
- Help residents, visitors and businesses access Cityservices and information.
- Manage competing priorities, enquiries and administrativetasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Process bookings, payments and correspondence whilemaintaining accurate records.
- Support wider City events, initiatives and the day-to-dayoperation of the Customer Experience Centre.
- Work collaboratively with a positive, high-performing teamto deliver great service.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for customer service and enjoys helpingpeople find solutions.
- Can confidently manage multiple enquiries and priorities ina fast-paced environment.
- Remains organised, adaptable and professional whenpriorities change.
- Works effectively both independently and as part of ateam.
- Has solid computer skills, particularly in Microsoft365.
- Brings a positive, friendly and customer-focused approachto every interaction.
Experience in Local Government or customer relationshipmanagement systems will be highly regarded, but most importantlywe'll value your attitude, adaptability and commitment to excellentservice.
