About the Role

As a Rental Operations Agent, you will be involved in all aspects of our business. You will interact directly with customers at the rental counter, assist with bookings and vehicle handovers, inspect vehicles, and help maintain our fleet to the highest standards.

No two days are the same, and you’ll play an important role in ensuring every customer enjoys a smooth and qualified rental experience.

What You’ll Do

- Interact with customers face-to-face, delivering exceptional customer service and promoting the Avis Budget Group brand
- Complete rental transactions, reservations, contracts, and bookings accurately
- Assist customers with vehicle collections and returns
- Promote rental upgrades and additional products and services
- Clean and prepare the interior and exterior of vehicles to company standards
- Inspect vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and roadworthiness
- Record vehicle condition reports accurately
- Assist with vehicle movements and fleet management activities
- Maintain presentation standards across the branch and wash bay
- Follow company procedures,

What We’re Looking For

- A full and valid driver’s licence
- Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, retail, customer service, sales, travel, aviation, or similar customer-facing roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A strong work ethic and team-focused approach
- Physical capability to assist with vehicle cleaning and presentation duties
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
