Complete Staff Solutions is seeking reliable and physically fit Street Labourers to join a Local Council team working across the Willoughby area.

Offering approximately $38 per hour plus applicable penalty rates, these roles are ideal for people who enjoy hand on outdoor work and want to help keep local streets, shopping precincts and public spaces clean and presentable.

Whether you have experience in street cleansing, outdoor labouring, cleaning, waste or general maintenance, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Role

You'll help maintain clean, protected and tidy public spaces across the Willoughby area, carrying out a range of street cleansing and outdoor labouring duties.

Key Duties

- Litter picking and street cleansing
- Emptying and servicing public bins
- Assisting with street sweeping operations
- Using street cleansing equipment
- General outdoor labouring and manual handling
- Completing work orders and public-domain cleaning duties
- Working independently and as part of a Council team

Shift Information

Shifts operate across a Monday-Sunday roster, including weekends and public holidays as required.

Typical start times include:

- Early morning: 1:30am or 6:30am
- Day/afternoon:



11:30am or 12:30pm

Finish times may vary depending on operational requirements and events. Flexibility across different shifts is essential.

What we're looking for

- Current Class C driver's licence - essential
- Reliable transport to and from the depot
- Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor manual work
- Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work across a Monday-Sunday roster

Previous experience in street cleansing, outdoor labouring, cleaning, waste, gardening or general maintenance will be highly regarded.

An MR licence and experience using street cleansing equipment will be an advantage.

Pre-Employment Requirements

- Current National Police Check issued within the last 12 months
- Two recent employment references
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
