Role Summary

Senior network engineering role supporting Optus network transformation and modernisation initiatives, with deep SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, routing, EVPN and service provider network expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Design,



validate and support SRv6/MPLS and IPv6 network solutions; support backbone transformation and migration activities; provide L3 escalation support; perform RCA for critical incidents; contribute to traffic engineering, QoS and service reliability improvements.

Mandatory Skills / Experience

SRv6, MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, IPv4/IPv6, Traffic Engineering, QoS, carrier-grade backbone networks, transformation and migration programs, L3 troubleshooting and RCA.

Experience Required

8+ years in IP/MPLS service provider networks; senior hands‑on engineering experience in carrier-grade backbone, transformation, migration and L3 support environments.
