Upper Hunter Automotive is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team as an Automotive Trainee, working across our Service and Parts Departments.

This is a full-time, 12-month traineeship offering hands-on training, valuable industry experience and the opportunity to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.

Whether you're finishing school, looking for your first job or considering a career change, we'd love to hear from you.

No previous automotive experience is required – we're looking for the right attitude and a willingness to learn!

What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside our experienced Service and Parts teams, you'll learn how a busy automotive dealership operates, including:

- Assisting customers with service bookings and enquiries.
- Supporting Service Advisors with workshop administration and customer communication.




- Learning how to identify, order and manage vehicle parts.
- Assisting with parts enquiries and supplying parts to our workshop.
- Learning dealership systems and day-to-day operations.

What We're Looking For

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Valuable communication and customer service skills.
- Reliability, honesty and a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
- An interest in the automotive industry.
- A current driver's licence is preferred but not essential.
