About the role

Tiny Legends Day Care Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, caring and passionate individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator. Whether you are an experienced educator, newly qualified, just starting your career in early childhood education, or eager to begin studying towards a qualification, we would love to hear from you!

What we offer

- Fortnightly RDOs for full-time employees.
- Paid professional development and training to support your learning and career progression.




- Paid staff meetings held every 6 weeks at the Centre
- A full-time, non-contact Assistant Director/Educational Leader who helps foster a collaborative and supportive work culture, providing guidance, mentoring and support to educators as they develop their skills and confidence.
- Study and traineeship opportunities for individuals looking to gain their qualifications and begin a career in early childhood education with 3hrs paid per fortnight to study off the floor.
- Opportunities for career advancement and leadership development as your knowledge, experience and qualifications grow.
- A welcoming team environment where educators can learn from one another, share ideas and contribute to meaningful learning experiences for children.

What we're looking for

- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their learning and development.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a willingness to commence studies. Traineeship opportunities are available for the right applicant!
- Good communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- An interest in child development and creating meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- A willingness to work as part of a team, ask questions, accept feedback and learn from experienced colleagues.
- A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or eligibility to obtain one.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, or a willingness to obtain the required qualifications.
